Note
Thomas Marshall (my gr-gr-grandfather) being born in 1821 could fit. I don't know when he came to Ontario. But his wife's family ( the Moons) came in 1830 or 1832.Thomas married Hannah Moon on July 15, 1852 in Port Perry Ont. Ca. The service was performed by the Rev. Thomas Green. Thomas and Hannah lived on lot 4 north 1/2 con. 9 in Pickering Township til 1866 when the family moved to lot 22 con 10 in Reach Township, and in 1875 they moved to Brock near Cannington, Ont. Then in 1884 they moved to North Keppel, Ont. to lot 30 Colpoy Range and sometime between 1886 and 1890 the family bought a new farm on lot 35 con 25 North Keppel. Hannah passed away on this farm. Martha Marshall and James West were married there on June 4, 1890. This farm was passed on to Thomas and Hannah's youngest son Walter Marshall and then to his second son Emerson Marshall. Thomas died on Sunday July 18, 1886 at the age of 65 in North Keppel and is buried in Big Bay Cemetery
