Glenview Announcements (IL) - September 27, 2001 Deceased Name: Myron G. Kuhlman Memorial services for Myron G. Kuhlman, 86, of Woodstock, formerly of Barrington, were held Sunday, Sept. 23, at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Woodstock. Born Oct. 6, 1914, in Barrington to Herman and Matilda (nee Nordmeyer), he died Sept. 18 at Hearthstone Manor in Woodstock. Mr. Kuhlman attended Lake Forest College and the University of Illinois, and worked for the Jewel Tea Co. in Barrington as transportation manager for 43 years. He was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Woodstock, the Woodstock Kiwanis and the Transportation Old Timers Society. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (nee Pingel), whom he married May 10, 1939, in Chicago; four daughters, Kathleen (Jerry) Vasek of Westmont, Peggy (Kelly) McClain of Woodstock, Janet Merutka of Golf and Deborah (Michael Brooks) of Park Ridge; grandchildren Polly Myers, Rosie, Katie and Johanna Vasek, Tony Halda, Christy Sturm, Andrew McClain and Mara Merutka; great-grandchildren Joseph Sweet and Jade Halda, Maggie and Steven Sturm, and Athena Myers; a sister, Marjorie Klopfenstein; and a brother, LaVerne (Vivian.)
